After waiting for months, a late fundraising push this summer made it possible for the organizers of what will be called "Williston Water World" to spring ahead with the design. So far, Colebank said they raised more than $9.6 million for Water World.
Phase one of the new water park will be built first. This portion of the building plan will include two water slides, a lazy river, and a zero-depth pool. Builders plan to work externally during the warm months then switch to the interior stuff during the cold months. According to Colebank, phase one should be completed in May of 2025
